Discovery hut

Scott’s Discovery hut just beyond the edge of McMurdo.  The cross on the hill behind is to the memory of George Vince, a member of Scott’s expedition who was caught in a blizzard, slipped on the ice cliffs and fell into the sea in March 1902.
