Saskia Beudel is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Sydney College of the Arts, The University of Sydney. She has published on a range of topics including histories of the arid zone; landscape and memory; interdisciplinary and creative approaches to urban sustainability; history of anthropology; connections between public and private histories; non-fiction literature and writing. She is author of A Country in Mind and Borrowed Eyes and co-author of Curating Sydney: Imagining the City’s Future (with Jill Bennett). She is a 2016 Fellow at the Rachel Carson Centre for Environment and Society.
